Newish Black and White Crowntail betta.  We got an updated photo for our website on them today, and I have to share it.  What an absolutely beautiful fish.  The good thing about these (and black orchids as well) is that they're extremely consistent.  None of them look really significantly better or worse than another one, they all look very good.
    Hey Folks,

We're all getting last minute adjustments for our booth/tanks we will be displaying at Super Zoo in Vegas next week!  It's already that time of year.....it's really flown by.  If you're planning on coming to Super Zoo, make sure to stop by our booth and put your name down on your list of visitors so we can get you a discount off a future order.  It's a substantial discount, the biggest we do as a company is for attendees of the trade shows, so make sure to not miss out on that.

We've got some pretty neat stuff coming in this week that we wouldn't normally stock during the middle of summer, so make sure to check out the list on Friday!  Some of it is going to Super Zoo, but most of it is not and will be for sale here next week.  Tanganyikan stuff that is rarely available and will only appeal to the diehard fish fanatics out there to popular and easy to sell mbuna species, to colored up large-sized show quality peacock and hap males is all coming in a couple days.

Over the weekend we refilled all the guppies, so if you ordered a type last week that we didn't send and you still see it on the list, that's why, they did all get restocked as of today.  Fancy shrimp also got a bit of a restock over the weekend to keep the numbers up.  Lots of mixed color Oscars came in yesterday as well, but those were still in stock from last week and on the list.

    From Friday's writeup:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summer is in full swing and I hope it's not as hot for you as it is here. We've been setting record high temps so far and I think I speak for all of Florida when I say we're ready for some record lows. You know it's bad when people who have spent their entire lives here are saying they're ready to move lol. But scorching weather not withstanding we still managed to get quite bit of great looking fish this week. Thankfully most of these are from tropical zones and don't mind hundred degree afternoons. Got in all the usual suspects including Bangkok, Sri Lanka and Colombia. Plus as always lots of great Florida raised fish.

Got restocks on some much needed Colombia staples including Rubber Plecos, Farlowellas, Fourline Pims, Colombian Sharks and Otos. For new(ish) stuff we got in Ossa Knives for the first time in ages. Probably the coolest Knife we see coming out of South America and that includes Black Ghosts. Albeit rather sedentary behavior wise they're very unique and not all that common. We also got in Green Neon Tetras but act fast as these are always gone in the blink of an eye. And speaking of fish that disappear in a hurry we got a super limited number of Peacock in. Like literally two or three pieces. They're around 4-5" so call your rep before your done reading this sentence if you want one.

Far east imports brought in some fun surprises like always including Marble Moray Eels. I think a better suited name for these would be Goldflake Moray Eel seeing how they really aren't marbled but rather have more of a gold dusting to them. Or that could also be a more marketable name, Gold Dust Eel. Either way they're really attractive and typically do well so long as you throw some salt on them. Also Eel-like are the Delhezi Bichirs. One of the most popular "Dinosaur Eels" these guys have the best pattern you can get without breaking the bank. Also in from the far east are farm raised Redtail Cats. While not appropriate for most home aquariums these beasts do well in indoor ponds. Great personalities and will even learn to take food right out of your hand. And while I didn't have time to take a pic we did get in a very small handful of some Archers.  One of my absolute favorite display fish of all time this is one of the brackish species so they require a bit of salt in their water.

In Florida raised fish we got in some old school favorites just like last week. My personal fave are the Curviceps. While relatively subtle in overall coloration these guys present themselves with a modest beauty with fantastic markings in the fins. Also in the old school category are the original Blue Acaras. If remember seeing these in pet stores then you're just like me, old lol. These grow up to be absolute gems. Literally since these guys look like they actually sparkle underwater. Don't get them confused with their cousins Green Terrors. They may be in the same genus but they are nothing alike. These stay relatively small with a docile temperament. Along with both of these we also got in some outstanding looking 3" Heckelii. Both color and size are great on these. We are also expecting 4" & 5" later today but they will be very limited so be sure to check with your rep.

Reach out to your rep if you have any questions.

Medium Mix Peacocks have some excellent fish in there right now.  Full color without hormones!  They'll only continue to look better and better with time.
Another excellent Florida bred fish we've got right now are these Fire Ndiwe Haps!  The color on these is always breathtaking.
Albino Auratus are restocked after a while of being gone.  These are one of the best looking albino cichlids, with really cool looking white stripes that run down the body that highlight the gold.
3 inch Red Devils are already "peeling"!   These should all be nice piebald looking fish in not much longer.
Oscars got restocked over the weekend.  Tigers have great patterns, and the ones in the assortment are identical to the ones that are sold seperately.
5 Inch Trimac cichlids have a couple left.  Fins are surprisingly good on these, I would have expected that they would have torn each other up from being held together but I guess the plastic we put in the holding tanks to break up sight lines does more work than I expected.
9-10 CM red and white Ranchu Goldfish are restocked.  These have been selling like crazy, and it's easy to see why.  Good looking Goldfish almost sell themselves.
Platinum Rice Fish get overlooked in our emails all the time, so showing them a little love today.  These are super popular for outdoor breeders, and can even be kept outdoors in water gardens up north up until pretty late in the year.
Black Tiger Badis are here to replace the Scalet Badis that sold out last week.  With a gun to my head, I couldn't tell you which one I like more.  Both are super cool looking little fish.  The Tigers seem to get a little larger, so might show out better for you.
4-5 inch Tiger Shovelnose are looking excellent and have been flying out of here.  I hope we have enough to last through another full week of sales, but might run out.  These (and redtails) are some of the quickest growing monster fish, and will need a large tank or pond before your customers can utter "I've made a mistake", but they're some of the most popular South American fish you can possibly stock.
